Spotted in the Wild: The Pouf

“A what?” you ask.  A pouf, the perfect and most versatile accent piece I know.  When Cisco Brothers first introduced the Pouf I was a little unsure, but I quickly became a convert.  Because it comes in many sizes, the Pouf has many applications.

The 20” Pouf brings in a punch of whimsy with pattern, color, and texture.  I like them scattered about, ready to be pulled up for extra seating or for your tired feet.

Poufs also come in 36” and 43” which are just the right size for a coffee table.  The tufting adds dimension and interest to almost any living space.  And soft sides are great for a young family.  Just ask Elizabeth, of The Shoe Hive and The Hive.  She has one!

To show off their versatility I wanted to share a few I found in the wild.  Our first spottings are in bright, fresh, and fun environs.

Studio McGee used one at the end of a twin bed in a child’s room.  It’s just the right size for the space and for a little person to put on their shoes. (Side note, we have this exact pouf in the store and, because it’s a floor sample, it is 40 percent off during our sale.)

Ryan Garvin shot the above pic of a Brooke Wagner-designed sitting room.  I love the impact the Pouf makes and the mix of materials.  And here’s another one from this duo…

If you want to get a little more moody then how about the way Haus Love adds them to these gloriously neutral spaces.  The touch of leather brings in a new texture, which is always helpful in neutral space.

I like how they paired two of them as accents and extra seating in this incredible sitting room.  Tuck a couple under a console for a pop of interest and extra seating when needed.

These are just a few ways you can use the Pouf from Cisco Brothers.  You can see how much fun they are and how they bring personality to any room.  If you’d like to add one to your home, then this is the time to do it.  From now until September 17th you can order one during our Semi-annual Upholstery Sale!
