&everything Is Everything (and 20% off This Weekend)

In 2011 the “arm party” trend was in full force. I’m talking bracelets on top of bracelets, of course. The term was used so much that the Man Repeller blog actually tried to trademark it. I am not sure if it went through, but I can’t imagine there are many other fashion terms that were so popular that someone took the time and money to “own” the phrase.Since then the phrase, and probably the style, has died down a little. In its heyday it meant both arms, and literally the stacks could go halfway up your arm. When I got to thinking about the trend, I think it was really a throwback from the 80s when we were all stacking jelly and friendship bracelets. Those cheap and abundant bracelets were kind of social currency at my middle school.Personally, I like a more edited version and a more tonal look for my “arm party,” which is why I can’t get enough of a brand that has become one of the most popular lines at The Shoe Hive, &everything.Out of California, the designer Kari Wohl makes every size and variation of gold, beaded bracelets you can imagine. There are all-gold versions, ones with diamond-encrusted beads, and every color stone you can imagine. They also can be custom ordered in rose gold or silver. They are the perfect graduation gift. They start for as low as $50 for the 3mm bracelets, which are the perfect piece for your starter stack! Custom orders are available as well. You start with a few and then as you look down at your wrist while you are driving you think, I might need to add a few more. They also layer perfectly with other pieces, especially fine jewelry. Instead of gold-plated, which is common in jewelry, these pieces are gold filled, which means a solid, thick layer of it is bonded to another metal. It has more gold than plating, and it won’t flake, rub off, or turn colors. I can attest to this because I wear mine in the shower, to the gym, and it comes out looking just like the day I bought it.The pieces can be cleaned with mildly sudsy water, rinsed well, and patted dry with a non-scratching cloth or polished gently with a jewelry cloth. This weekend we are having a trunk show and we are going to have tons and tons of &everything bracelets and necklaces from which to choose. I, for one, am counting down the days so I can add a few new pieces to my collection. So stop in starting Friday, April 20th and all the pieces at the trunk show will be 20 percent off.
