Are You NEAT And Ready For The Holidays?

Our team at NEAT Method is here to inspire you to refresh and organize your spaces this fall!  From the pantry, to your closets and kids’ playrooms, now is the perfect time to get your home organized for holiday hosting!

Editing

An organized space can clear your mind, reduce stress, and add time back into your day. A perfect way to clear the clutter is to start by editing, or removing items from your home that you're no longer using. This is applicable to all areas of your home, but for now, I recommend focusing on the high traffic or priority spaces. It's time to part with those unused kitchen gadgets, clothes you no longer wear, and toys your children have outgrown.  Donation bins, your local buy-nothing groups, or consignment shops are the perfect way to give these items to others!

Kitchen + Pantry

Get ready for holiday cooking and baking by relocating higher priority items.  Pack your summer patio dishes up high and bring baking sheets down to your fingertips.  Make room in your pantry for the influx of groceries by checking expiration dates on what you currently have.

Guest Rooms

Make your guests feel at home by clearing closet and drawer space for them. Add a few extra hangers to the closets and create a NEAT touch by matching towels and toiletries!

Toys

Spend some time going through toys now, so that when the gifts roll in, you'll have the space for them. If your kids will have a hard time getting rid of things, a strategy we recommend is to put the unused items in bags in the garage or elsewhere in your home. If they don't notice the toys are missing after a few weeks, then you're good to remove them from your home!
