Asking for a Friend: Patio A or Patio B?

There are endless options for home furnishing out there. When you hire an interior designer, you are paying for someone to wade through the sea of possibilities so you don’t have to. With too many options, it’s easy to suffer from analysis paralysis. Trust me, I know. Two years ago, we renovated our patio and I have yet to make a decision on what type of furniture to put out there. With a myriad of options and an infinite way to combine them, it’s even hard for me to decide what to do. While I continue to work on my patio, I thought I’d show you just how changing just a few elements in a design make two different statements.I took common elements – the dining table, the white sofa, umbrella, (the coolest ever) fire pit, and a pair of lounge chairs – and made two different looks using color, accessories, and material finishes. Most of these pieces fall squarely in my own personal dilemma and can be ordered through Red Barn Mercantile. Which one speaks to you the most: A or B? Asking for a friend. 😉Where do I want to make a statement, where do I want to investment, and where do I want to save because I know I may not like it three years from now? All of these are questions we have to ask ourselves when making big décor decisions. These are also the types of questions that an interior designer can help you with. If you need help, our Design Collective is poised to help you. Simply email us at hello@redbarnmercantile.com to get started!
