Bazzak is Open + Summer Hair Trends

We are just about to approach two weeks of being re-open at Bazzak. We have been following all the guidelines and have implemented a number of changes at the salon to ensure we keep our clients, staff, and community all safe and healthy. We're taking temperatures of our staff and clients, wearing face covering and masks, refraining from blow drying, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, and washing our hands frequently. Some new changes you'll notice and some you may not, but we are all in this together and hope to be back to normal soon.In the meantime, let’s talk about summer haircut trends. All is not lost during these trying times and we can make ourselves feel a little more complete by freshening up our look.

First, we have the classic chin length bob. It’s a well-rounded haircut and will probably never go out of style. The chin length bob is great especially if you like to wear necklaces and like the idea of a low maintenance hairstyle, but still like to look stylish. If you don’t care for the idea of your hair being directly at your chin then you can do a variation chin bob and have it cut a bit longer, or slightly asymmetrical.

The second look we like for this summer is natural curls cut into long round layers so the curls lay effortlessly wild, but tamed at the same time! For all of my ladies with curls you have probably had the dreaded triangle at some point, so the long round layers help the curls have more bounce and better shape!

Third, let’s go back to the 90s. I know this sounds a bit unbelievable but “The Rachel” (from Friends) is making a huge comeback, but in a modern way with round layers (with deep face framing) on long hair that has been making an appearance lately amongst many celebrities. This look is sexy and fun especially if you’re tired of having flat hair and need a little spruce up.

Last but definitely not least, we have the mid-length long layers cut. It's a classic look and is a great cut for when you are just needing a trim and want to grow out your hair. This cut works great curled or bone straight and is really known to shift focus directly on the face. This is a great variation to having long flat hair that tends to hang and drag you down. Now you're prepared with all the information to head into the salon and see which cut is best for your new glam-formation! Stay healthy and well, and let’s get prepared for the next phase of business openings.
