Ahh, the holidays! As I write this and prepare the shop for the busy season ahead, it felt appropriate to light one of our Frasier Fir candles to get in the spirit! I’ve always loved the outdoor holiday markets in Europe and the festive feeling they inspire. Last year, we finally hosted our own holiday market here at Boxwood and it was such a success! After the fun we had last year, we are excited to bring back Boxwood’s Holiday Market!

On Plaid Friday, November 25, we welcome you back to shop and to celebrate as the holiday season kicks off on the 100 block of South Royal. Our annual outdoor market is one of my most favorite times of the year because I love to see so many familiar faces. I also love seeing many new faces out shopping and getting into the holiday spirit. For those gearing up to decorate for Christmas, our holiday market will be full of ornaments, wreaths, and garland. All purchases are “buy one, get the second 50 percent off.” Our Holiday Market will be hosted throughout the Plaid Friday and Small Business Saturday weekend. Make sure you stop by as you shop through Old Town.

Finally, to close out our holiday weekend festivities, we are hosting our annual wreath-making workshop.This year we’re excited to bring on The Lily Flower Truck to teach us how to construct a wreath from scratch and how to decorate it with holiday dressing. On Sunday, November 27, from 10am-12pm, join us under the Holiday Market tent to create a stunning wreath that will fill your home with holiday spirit and festive aromas.
