Cire Trudon: Christmas Edition Candles

I am a firm believer that you really cannot go wrong when gifting a luxurious candle, and as far as luxury candles go, Cire Trudon is top tier! Founded in 1643, they are best known for being the world’s oldest candlemaker. The Paris-based company is the candle of choice for many A-listers and designers around the globe, and is known to have supplied the Imperial court of France.

Elegant and exclusive, they rely on the olfactive pyramid to form the structure and architecture of their high-end scents. The olfactive pyramid includes 3 levels that tell you about the strength of each aroma in the candle. Head notes are made up of light and fleeting scents that you smell first. They quickly fade to reveal heart notes that contain the character and style of the candle. Finally, the experience finishes with base notes, the most intense and lingering aspects of the scent.
