This Spring, Color Your World

Who better to be our ambassador of color than the ever-stylish Nicole Seifert! Many of you know Nicole as the dynamic mother of two who shines with her megawatt smile and generous spirit. Nicole lives in Old Town her husband and two munchkins, and this group is on the move. Like a lot of families with young children, they enjoy all the local experiences in their community. The difference is that Nicole calms the chaos by hitting the canvas where she works it out.A talented artist, Nicole's paintings are abstract and inspired from nature, and the results have given her a cottage business where she can still do what she loves the most...be a mom!"My children and I were walking, and a neighbor stopped us to have my daughter hold a butterfly. She was enamored with the magic of the insect, while I was taken away by stillness of the moment itself. While my work is abstract, the energy of the Farmer’s Market at Market Square is ubiquitous. The rippling current of the Potomac River and the sharp smell of that first fire on a winter’s day. My pieces are the products of my chaotic life and the peace I find in the everyday."

"...a visual manifestation of the calm before a storm, the energy of a wave into a shoreline, the swirling of newly strewn clouds — while as motionless as a damp morning before being visited by a soft breeze when light first emerges."

This Jenni Kayne jumpsuit is ideal for a mother -- or artist! -- on the go! The crepe fabric is very user friendly and offers great ease in the "one and done" category. Imagine the ease of a pre-dinner Windmill Hill Park play date and then heading out to dinner at the new Mia's Italian Kitchen with a simple change of shoes, then add a Klements silk scarf and a little lipstick! [divider height="30" style="default" line="default" themecolor="0"]  Looking for the easiest dress for brunch? This sweet and sassy A-line shift dress by Tara Jarmon makes perfect canvas for  accessories. The cloud blue color is everywhere this season and such an optimistic shade. And the dress has pockets, a must for a busy mom on the go! Nicole has it styled with a neckerchief and the Portofino bag in white. Easy choices for moms: the bag is from Save My Bag and will keep you chic without the worry of ruining your good bag. Use it either to cover your investment bag or on its own. [divider height="30" style="default" line="default" themecolor="0"]It's date night and Nicole is slayin' this look. Black is always classic -- like this lace cami and cropped scuba jacket -- but adding color makes a vibrant statement and sets her apart from the sea of black denim. Make the same impact by using brights to light up the night!
