Do you ever feel like you are that crazy dog chasing its tail? You laugh a little because he clearly can’t get it, but then you feel bad because, well, he won’t get it. I feel like that lately, with the store and planning events, I am trying to catch up, but I can’t seem to get ahead these days.

So, once again, we are late in announcing our next fall trunk show, and this is one you won’t want to miss. Starting Thursday, October 14, we are hosting a L’agence Trunk Show. We have lots of great inventory, and they sent us some great pieces that you can special order. Despite being a ready-to-wear brand, what really has resonated with our customers is their denim and the t-shirts. I literally have the Resi crew in every color they make. It is the perfect t-shirt and layering piece. It is fitted but not tight, and the microfiber fabric doesn’t wrinkle, so it always looks a little nicer than a basic tee. I also have the High Line jean in multiple colors. The other item you must purchase if you are to purchase anything is the Aja turtleneck; it is another microfiber fabric that is the shirt you need for all your skirts and blazers or to wear alone. You can’t go wrong with any of the pieces. We will be able to order some of their essentials, and they are sending us some items from the ready-to-wear collection as well. I have to say, it isn’t easy right now for brands to send out trunk items and place special orders, but L’agence is always willing to help us out and make our events amazing.
