Denisa Piatti x DC Style Factory Launch Party

If you are an avid Alexandria Stylebook reader -- and thank you if you are -- then you know about Rosana Vollmerhausen, the founder of DC Style Factory. To say she is an impressive person would be an understatement. If you are like me and happen to stalk, I mean follow, her on social media you know over the last year Rosana has decided it was time for world domination.Kidding aside, I could just see a shift in Rosana and her team and it has been inspiring for me to watch. They believe personal style should be expressed by everyone no matter their size, age, or budget, and they are coming up with new and innovative ways to reach more people.Rosana also has the gift of growing her business while still keeping her number one priority, her family, her number one priority. I can attest that this is not always an easy task. When she emailed me and asked us to be a part of the launch of her limited edition jewelry collection with local designer Denisa Piatti, I jumped at the opportunity.I started researching Denisa’s line and instantly realized why she and Rosana had formed a relationship. The pieces are unique, like nothing else you have ever seen. It’s hard not to be instantly drawn to them. It isn’t jewelry; it is wearable art.Denisa created her line to shine the light on traditional craftsmanship in jewelry. She combines unexpected materials like 24-karat gold and sterling silver with acrylic. Each piece is made my hand in limited quantities in her studio right here in Washington, D.C.  If you are strolling through Barnes & Noble, you might even come across a book she has written about her design philosophies.I am flattered to be a part of this collaboration of two amazing female entrepreneurs. I mean what could be better than two creative minds working together? I asked Rosana to put her master styling skills to work to show the wearability and versatility of their collaborative line.[nemus_slider id="52222"]So please stop in The Hive this Saturday, September 8 from 11am to 2pm to meet both Rosana and Denisa and see their beautiful collection. We will have mimosas, treats from Dangerously Delicious Pies, giveaways, and, of course, styling tips from Rosana.
