Elizabeth’s Top Picks From Tibi

If someone said I could only wear one brand for the rest of my life, the decision would be easy: Tibi. Truth be told, most days I am wearing something from Tibi, over 90 percent of what I wear is Tibi. Sure I would miss my Allude cashmere, my Citizens jeans and the rack of Smythe blazers. But really I would be more than fine.

Oftentimes people say to me, “I am not cool enough for Tibi” or “I’d look silly wearing Tibi.” This is not true – regardless of your style, age, or size; Tibi is for everyone. Some specific items might not be for you, but there is something in this collection that will be. More often than not, once people start buying Tibi, they come back in and share how they wear their Tibi items all the time.

Here’s why: Tibi isn’t about having “outfits” or following trends. It’s about function. It’s about clothes that work and create a feeling, not a look. As my kids say, it’s a vibe, a vibe to which we can all relate. Everything Tibi is Chill, Modern and Classic. Those three elements are in each piece they create and I have yet to meet someone who also doesn’t use one of those three words to describe their own style. I think that’s the commonality we all really have, or want to have.

Here are my five top picks for TIBI to give you an idea of what you can inject into your wardrobe:

A chill, modern and classic vibe is what brings us all together under the Tibi umbrella– but we all still have our own unique style. And I’ll use the managers at The Hive as an example. Annette is elegant; she is often in an A-line skirt or carrying a pocketbook. Kelly is from California and has a relaxed look; she is always put together and has a serenity about her. Sophia has an ease about her as well; she always looks chic but collected. Shannon has a very clean look; not a lot of bells and whistles but there’s a little edge to her, hence her affinity for Freda Salvador shoes. Then I would say I have a more sporty look. I haven’t met a track pant, varsity jacket or athletic stripe I won’t wear. Despite all of our different style preferences, we all wear Tibi.

If you want to try Tibi and get advice from an expert, now’s your chance. On Thursday, October 26 the ultimate expert will be in store–Amy Smilovic, the founder and creative director of Tibi. She is bringing Keturah, a Tibi stylist and fit specialist, and they will have styling appointments from 9 am until 3 pm

Don’t worry, if you can’t make it on Thursday we will be there to help the rest of the weekend – with all the great trunk show items. Browse the Tibi Lookbook so you can see what we have in store.

There are a few remaining appointments left, sign up here. Hope to see you soon!
