If you ask the editors of Cosmo and Vogue to tell you the top trends for fall 2020, they will likely throw around words like miniskirt and double-breasted blazer. And while these things are fabulous, I’m going to guess they were trends of the “fall 2020 that could have been” … before COVID!Katie and I did a crazy thing a few months ago and opened a new retail boutique in the midst of a pandemic. Our vision was (and still is) to have a store of our favorite things. It just so happens that our favorite things, fashion and otherwise, fit perfectly into this fall season full of virtual meetings, virtual learning, and virtual happy hours.

 As moms of five kids collectively, it is important for us to have a fashionable yet “approachable” wardrobe in terms of style and affordability. This fun hippie style translates into fall with a jogger or wide-leg warm-up suit. Throw on sneakers or a fun bootie and voilà, instant comfort chic!Dresses are definitely still in style this fall, but for us, it’s a more casual approach. Tie-dye again makes a splash as well as denim. These more casual dresses are comfortable enough to wear at home for a COVID-style date night.
