Give The Gift Of A Luxury Candle

I know, another post about candles – you might be rolling your eyes! But, I am here to tell you that instead of an eye roll, I think these candles deserve major  enthusiasm.

I think Covid made me a bit candle-obsessed. Everyone took a little extra effort to make their homes more personal. For me, personalization meant burning candles, lots and lots of candles. I have them in so many rooms and in so many scents, and they truly make me happy. As I sit at my island at 7am, I have already lit my Boy Smell D'Amasque candles. It makes working so much more pleasant. There is a reason every candle company does a holiday scent. Smells evoke memories! Nothing can help you get in the Christmas spirit more than a candle (or maybe some cookies baking in the oven).

Candles aren’t just about the scent, though. They are about the packaging, too. This year, we have plenty from our favorite lines, Boy Smells and Skeem. We decided to add another line that takes packing to a new level – Baobab. These candles are works of art. Founded in Belgium in 2002, each piece is unique and created by craftsmen in their workshops who are engravers, painters, glass blowers, screen printers, and perfumers. If you have someone on your list who is difficult to shop for, you can’t go wrong with one of these candles. I like to go with the gift-giving theory of buying an elevated gift that you know the receiver wouldn’t buy for themselves. Well, Baobab is exactly that. It is a true luxury candle brand that looks great in anyone's home, no matter their style.

None of these candles are “just another candle” — they are all beautiful and special. Boy Smells are hand poured in Los Angeles, with natural oils and proprietary all-natural coconut wax and beeswax. All of Skeem's containers are designed to be repurposed (even the match cloche can become a bud vase) and the candles are made with an exclusive soy/vegetable base.

Of course, they all smell great and there is a scent for everyone! So, if you need a last-minute gift, you really can’t go wrong with a candle.

You just can’t have too many of them!
