How To Add Drama To Your Look

I recently did a makeup tutorial with the fabulous Alicia McCaslin. I'm sure you already know what an amazing stylist she is. Every time she walks into Bellacara, I always admire her effortless style. Not to mention that she is also stunning! So, when Alicia suggested that we collaborate to elevate her look from day to night, I jumped at the opportunity!

In the videos she shared with you, I had just finished her daytime look with Westman Atelier cosmetics. I then gave her some tips on vamping it up for an evening look. I have to say, she looked fabulous!

Here are a few tricks you can try at home to make your look more dramatic for the evening:

  • Apply a darker shade of shadow in the corner crease

  • Line top and bottom lashes with the same deep shade using a smudge brush for a smokey effect

  • Line top lashes with black or dark brown liquid liner for more definition

  • Tight line: add eyeliner on your waterline

  • Red lip for instant glamour, or opt for a nude lip with high gloss with smokey eyes

Apply each step according to your eye shape. Not sure what that means? We love helping our clients feel and look their best! So whether you need an updated daytime look or are ready to go big with an evening out, schedule an appointment - or just stop in - and let us give you the Tullebox makeover!
