Italian Summer

As a shop owner, it’s fun to see what products our customers are drawn to year after year. I’ve seen some quickly become customer favorites, while others are only loved for a season or two. Looking back, three products have stuck it out with us since the beginning, and we begin to see a common theme: they are all from fabulous Italian designers!

Starting in Milano, Italy, we have Telki. These floor mats capture the color and pattern of the Mediterranean, made and shipped directly from Italy. Our clients enjoy how simple they are to clean and how easily these thin mats fit in front of their doorways without getting stuck or in the way. We’ve always loved how Telki brings Italian tradition and design into placemats and floor mats for everyday use in our modern homes. These are perfect if you’re looking for a quality mat to add color to your space.

From Venice, Italy, comes another Boxwood staple: the colorful and cordless lamps from Zafferano. These ever-popular, portable LED lights are always at the top of our customers' wish lists. For those of you who have visited our store, you’ve seen our displays illuminated with these touch-dimming table lamps, available in several colors and sizes. Not only do they provide nine hours of light per charge, but they are also suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Hosting an evening outdoor dinner party? We’ve got you covered!

Finally, from beautiful Tuscany, Italy, we present Vietri. These stunning, hand-blown vases bring crisp beauty to even the simplest floral arrangement. Vietri’s Hibiscus Glass is one of their most popular collections, designed to be used daily to add style, functionality, and quality to your home. These are wonderful gifts, and each vase comes in a beautiful Vietri gift box.

Tried and true, Italian designers are loved by our Alexandria customers! It’s a joy as a shop owner to have customers share why they love a product or how they incorporated it into their home. If you’re looking for a recommendation, I encourage you to explore Telki, Zafferano, and Vietri next time you’re in the shop!
