Just The Right Amount Of Edge

I like to have a little bit of everything. This philosophy shows up in my music... I have everything from Eminem to Johnny Cash in my iTunes account. My closet is a reflection of this as well. Preppy blouses and skull paraphernalia are both represented. The same goes for Kiskadee. I think Darby about had a heart attack the first time she took me on a buying trip. Well, Kiskadee reflects my varying favorites.

One thing I love to do is add a bit of edge to an outfit. Even if it's just a teeny tiny bit. So many of our lines offer selections where you can add a little, or a lot, of edge. That's one of the things I love about Lauren Moshi. When I saw this shirt, it made me laugh, and I had to have it. Yes. I'm a mess. As Elizabeth Gilbert once said, "Embrace the glorious mess that you are."

Sanctuary has quickly become a customer favorite. These are two of my two favorite styles in for fall. If you thought the cold shoulders were gone forever, you were wrong. This shirt shows just the right amount of shoulder. These faux leather pants are actually quite versatile and neutral. Add an oversized chunky sweater and some combat boots, and boom! Easy outfit with some edge.

Another company that does "edge" just right, in my opinion, is Wooden Ships. Every year I order skulls from them, and every year they sell out. I also love camo, always have, and always will. That combined with hot pink, and I was sold.
