September Faves By Kiskadee Staff

September ushers out summer for the beginning of fall. New arrivals are a constant at the shop… it is like Christmas every day! September also signifies, for many of us, the true fashion season. All the fashion magazines are like books, and we devour page after page of new trends and classic redos. It can be hard for the Kiskadee staff to choose only one favorite, but we tried! We hope you enjoy our picks as much as we do.

Celeste: Give me Johnny Was or give me Johnny Was! You can’t beat the comfort or boho style of this customer favorite. The olive color says “fall” yet, it can also be worn just as easily in spring and summer. Plus, olive is a fabulous neutral. The color plus tone-on-tone detail is subtle enough to wear with patterns too. I love the versatility!  Johnny Was Top $240

Cindy: Jeans are a fave, but it is time to mix it up! These patterned pants by Sanctuary are so easy… wash and wear plus pull on and go. The neutral tartan pattern will coordinate with many tops. I chose this black top because I love the angled neckline. If you love mixing patterns, go for it! I chose these fun kicks by one of my favorite designers, Johnny Was. Sanctuary pants $89, Sanctuary top $59, Johnny Was shoes $215

Lee: Dresses are my favorite, and this midi can easily be worn in three different seasons. Now for Indian Summers, later topped with your favorite denim or leather jacket as the fall chill begins, and spring worn as is for warmer days or with a creamy soft cardigan for cool mornings. Lilla P dress $178

Allison: The jogger trend is totally represented in these linen-like camo pants. The looser fit coincides with my casual lifestyle, and the pockets are a bonus for all of us busy people. But let me not skip the top… yes, it may be a simple white tee, but heavens, a good tee is hard to find! Kiskadee carries fabulous Lilla P tees that are a bit heavier in weight (not see-through, ladies!), wash well and hold their shape. I can’t get enough! Sanctuary pants $109, Lilla P top $68

Monica: Fall can run the gamut of temperatures, so I like the idea of a 3/4 short sleeve sweater that I can wear alone or top it with a favorite jacket as the temp dips. Plus, I adore the cable knit pattern and the contrasting stitch at the shoulders. I also like to pair a sweet sweater with distressed denim… it lends a leather and lace kind of vibe that is one of my favorite styles to wear. Lilla P sweater $178, Just Black Denim $89
