Kule Is Back At The Hive
We are so excited to have Kule back at The Hive. Here is the great thing about Kule: they know who they are and they stick to what they do, which is stripes. They do stripes really, really well. That’s why they’re a cult classic and while they add new styles and shapes each season, even some non-stripe items, they always stick to the core of what made them such a successful brand.
The owner, Niki Kule, wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps. Gene Kule created the brand Happy Legs with her mother in NYC in the 1970s. Knowing she wanted to stay in the family business she attended Parsons School of Design and then started Kule after her first child was born in 2001 as a luxe childwear brand. She became just the second childwear designer ever to be inducted into the CFDA.
After taking a pause from the line to become creative director at Brooks Brothers, she relaunched Kule as a women’s brand in 2015. Now she has expanded back into kids' and mens' as well. Her goal is to make happy clothes, made with love, that are made to last. Kule really has created the perfect striped tee. Really, they’ve made the perfect striped everything.
I hope you will stop in and see our selection. The quote on their site says it best: “We’re obsessed with creating things that make us smile, and we hope they’ll make you smile.”
