At Laura Hooper Calligraphy, we have been teaching calligraphy for six years and offer in-person workshops right here in our Old Town studio conveniently located off King Street near City Hall. The workshops are an ideal activity to enjoy with friends or family, or you can attend solo! We start at the very beginning covering the tools themselves before we even get into the writing, so zero experience is required.

They grab an assortment of supplies from a big-box craft store or online and it doesn’t turn out how they’ve seen it online and think they simply can’t do it.
