Looking Good at Home

I had originally written this week’s post about a fabulous line that we are getting in but changed my mind because most of us aren’t in a fabulous mindset right now. These past few weeks have truly changed our lives. Many of you who were planning vacations are now having staycations. Many of you, like me, are struggling to get kids home from college. Many of you have your younger children home from school already and, whether you have children or not, find that you are working from home. I love lounging around in my sweats and binge watching as much as anyone, but I can only do so much of that. I find when I’m home I seem to accomplish more, and have a more positive attitude and outlook, when I have my casual look pulled together. I’ll be in the car a lot this week, moving my children out of their dorm rooms, but still wanting to look stylish and be comfortable during all of these moves and conversations with other parents. We’re all focused on taking care of the people in our lives, but we also need to take care of ourselves, and part of that is felling positive!

For this week I went into TSALT and chose items that we currently have on the floor that will make these moves and staycation just a bit better. Here’s what I found...

Instead of schlepping around in an old worn out t-shirt and jeans, I’m amazed at how much better I feel by topping my denim with this Claire Fitted Short Sleeve Shirt by Nanushka. I also love this Smythe Elastic Strap Cami or the Nanushka Sela Drawstring Harem Pants.

Getting dressed won’t solve all of the issues we are facing today, but it just may make them seem easier to deal with. Mind games, anyone?

Dear TSALT client,With all of the news surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the increased impact it is having on our community, we wanted to share additional steps we are taking to provide a clean and safe environment for our clients to shop and our employees to work. Beginning Monday, March 16th, we will be offering private shopping sessions by appointment only, but our store will be closed to the general public for a two-week period.Like many others, we are following the advice of The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), along with local health agencies, who recommend regular cleaning as one of the most important steps we can take to ensure a safe and healthy place to shop. Our store is cleaned and sanitized as part of our daily routine, and we have increased the frequency with which we are cleaning throughout the day. We have conducted enhanced cleaning and hygiene training for our sales staff, and have provided them with information they need to stay healthy and to stay home if they aren’t feeling well.In addition to offering private, appointment-only in-store shopping, we will be diligently working to update our website to include merchandise that we currently have available for you to purchase online. We will also offer a virtual shopping experience if you prefer to speak with a sales associate via FaceTime. We will ship or provide curbside delivery for clients who prefer to use those options. We are currently hammering out the details for a home shopping experience in which we will deliver selected pieces to your home for you to try on. We will keep you updated as to when that option will be available. We will be modifying our hours to meet individual clients’ needs while participating in social distancing. During this two-week period, our store will be staffed from 12pm to 5pm for private shopping by appointment or virtual shopping. As always, we appreciate the loyalty of our clients. We hope the steps we are taking assure you that your well-being, and that of our employees, is our top priority. This virus is hitting our small business community particularly hard, and we are so grateful for your continued support as we navigate this situation.TSALT Team
