Love Is In The Air

Maura Burchette, Monday’s Child

Here at Stylebook, collaboration is the name of the game, and we thought it would be fun to partner with Rachel at Helen Olivia for the cutest theme party in some of our favorite pink and red looks to show you some Valentine's Day LOVE.

Mini representatives from Helen Olivia, The Hive, The Shoe Hive, Mint Condition, Ivy Lane, The Patterson Group, and our incredible graphic designer Alexander Finestone met at Helen Olivia for an entertaining hour of stunning centerpieces, heart-shaped glasses, sweet outfits, and lots of beautifully arranged sugar to get you hyped for Valentine's Day.

Tutus, bonnets, and monogram everything! How adorable are our little cupids? From smocked heart dresses to pink pants and lovey-dovey dresses, we live for getting dressed up for February 14. We are suckers for a holiday and love that our valentines' pieces can be worn all year long. Pink hearts for little girls are always in style. We brought lots of options with us to the shoot and loved how our older girls styled their looks and how precious the little ones looked as they ran around embracing the mayhem. Our little Alexandrians are just adorable!

And the space! The space was gorgeous. Rachel is a creative genius, to say the least; her tablescape and decoration setup exceeded my very high expectations, and I don't know how we'll ever have a cuter shoot.

When Maura approached me to collaborate on a kid's photoshoot for Valentine's Day, it was an immediate yes for me. In addition to being a devoted Monday's Child shopper, I love nothing more than a themed party. I got my start in the events industry planning over-the-top kid's parties, so it was a perfect excuse to dust off my child-sized pink Chiavari chairs.

For our Valentine's setup, I enlisted the help of industry friend DC Rentals for help with linens and place settings. We used a rich red linen to contrast with our pink Chiavari chairs. For the table design, we layered cute heart plates and cloth napkins and served strawberry milk from old-fashioned milk bottles. Our centerpieces were playful and funky with dried palm, tulips, and bunny tail grasses. The most exciting feature of our tablescape: a custom charcuterie board from The Soiree Stylist made 100% of candy and themed cookies. This is possibly my favorite entertaining hack of all time and so easy to customize for any party. Long live the charcuterie trend!

Our tiny models could not have been cuter and were perfectly styled by the talented team at Monday's Child. I was thrilled to lend my little one - Emma - who ate her entire body weight in candy and cookies and sported the most adorable gingham-smocked dress.

Cheers to the tiniest members of Stylebook and the cutest photoshoot we've ever put on!
