I wanted to take the time to introduce you all to our firm, what we do, and how we can help your family. I really appreciate the ability to be an Alexandria Stylebook contributor and share insight and advice with you all. All of our attorneys are deeply engrained in our community, and we deeply care about helping the members of our community - that is part of what makes us who we are and why we became attorneys. We live here, work here, volunteer here.

The Family First Law Group is a law firm that practices all aspects of family law - this might be a divorce, custody issues, or child support, but it could also be something different. I laugh that I practice all the weird niche areas of family law, such as adoption law. In addition, I represent clients for child protective service matters and other areas a lot of typical family law attorneys may not practice.

My colleague, Shannon Kroeger, is experienced in relocation cases, especially for military and government clients, and often teaches and speaks on parental alienation and business valuations. She is also certified in collaborative law - a law process using experts to come to a joint resolution of the marriage in a way best for the family. We also mediate for private clients. 

Lonnie Rich and Rachel Baer practice wills, trust and estate planning, and trust and estate administration. This includes a wide range of services, from the simple will or medical directive, to more complex issues. They also serve as Guardians and Conservators for incapacitated adults.

You also may know Lonnie from his work with businesses in this area. Lonnie does small business formation, management, and planning. A few of our Stylebook contributors have used him to help with their small businesses! We love to be able to walk our streets and see businesses we have helped! He also does work for larger companies, including corporate and LLC formation, sales and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, non-compete, non-disclosure agreements, and employment agreements. I also do some civil work, including litigation in General District Court, such as contract disputes and other matters to assist with the business law side of the firm.

Our firm also offers registered agent services. Our associates, Dan Collier and Emily Gunberg, assist us on all the above matters, and our paralegal, Arlene Clark, keeps us all organized and moving forward. Our whole team wants to make sure that our clients have the information they need to understand the process, their goals, how to reach those, and the benefits and downfalls of litigation and different legal processes. We all work very collaboratively to make sure our clients can leverage our combined knowledge and have their needs met in the best way possible for them and their families. We hope we can continue to serve you all when you have needs that might arise!
