Annie Sloan® Bring Your Own Piece

Is there something you have at home that needs a makeover, and you can’t get yourself to get it done? Let us help!  It’s our staff’s favorite workshop - bring in your own piece and give it new life. Discover the endless possibilities that Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan® has to offer! Learn how to create a smooth finish with your favorite color and wax combination! New to Chalk Paint®? No worries! Annie Sloan® 101: Introduction to the Annie Sloan® Chalk Paint® Method

This is a beginner workshop taught by a certified Annie Sloan® Chalk Paint® instructor. You’ll learn several hands-on painting techniques, along with the application of finishes, including waxes, lacquer, and gilding wax. Bring yourself (or a girlfriend or two) - everything else is provided! You will be prepared to give new life to your furniture projects. Save the date: April 26, May 10, or June 7.

Annie Sloan® Chalk Paint® 102 - The Magic of Stencil and Pearlescent Glaze

We are excited to announce a new Annie Sloan® workshop offered at Boxwood this spring! The Annie Sloan® 102 class covers the techniques of stenciling and the magic of working with Pearlescent Glaze. This class is perfect for doing with friends. You will leave with knowledge of unique painting finishes and a beautiful tray, all created by YOU! Save the date: May 24 or June 21.

Umbrella Dry Drinks

This spring, we are so proud to introduce Umbrella Dry Drinks to our workshop schedule. Workshops with Umbrella Dry Drinks will be an opportunity to learn how to make delicious, sophisticated, non-alcoholic cocktails from the company’s founder, Sam Kasten. Cheers! Floral Design with Everyday Flowers

We are excited to introduce a new floral design workshop series with Krista of Everyday Flowers. For those looking to learn how easy it can be to make beautiful floral arrangements using everyday flowers found in your garden or at the grocery store, this workshop is for you! It’s amazing to see what a little color theory and technique can do to turn everyday flowers into a work of art. Super easy and super fun! Save the date: May 12, May 28, or June 9.

Sugarcoated Bakery: Bouquet of Spring 

In this 90-minute class, you will decorate a gorgeous cookie platter with a large vase and multiple small flower and leaf cookies. Amalea from Sugarcoated Bakery will provide expert instruction and tips so you can decorate stunning cookies! All the baking, mixing, bagging (and clean up!) is already done so that you can focus on the fun. Save the date: May 25.
