Between the salt water and sand, the impending beach season can be rough on nails. Gel is definitely more durable, but even it can start to look a little dull after a weekend getaway. Rachel, Helen Olivia: My hands are always in and out of flower buckets, so a manicure is a must.  I go for a dip manicure (the only thing that holds up for a floral designer) and my go-to color for years is OPI Funny Bunny.  

Amy, Red Barn & Penny Post: I’m at the nail salon every two weeks.  Each session is a different shade of red. Call me boring but it’s a classic that never goes out of style. This week’s color is OPI’s Coca-Cola Red. If you know my deep love for Classic Coca-Cola, then you know how appropriate it is.

Rachel, Manes by Rachel: As a hairstylist, I love having my nails done. It’s my time to be the client and relax. Salon Meraki on Queen Street is my go-to place, the space is beautiful and inviting. I typically head to Pinterest for my nail inspiration, but the receptionist had this lavender color and I said, that’s what I want! It’s giving me full-on spring vibes and I’m excited to have my almond shape nails back after a long, post-baby hiatus. This shape makes me feel like a true baddie 

Meaghan, Alx&Co.: I really hate the feeling of having my nails painted so I am always au naturale, trimmed short. Easy!

Adrien, Alexandria Wellness: My daughter Rachel and I tend to get our nails done together. Some time ago, she decided it would be fun to match, even though she loves LONG nails and I LOVE mine as short as possible. She tends to choose designs online and we of course 😉 want our nails to match the season. Next week we are going all SUMMER since we are heading to Florida in a few weeks. Bright, sunny and 🔥 are the theme!
