Penny Post’s Pen Paradise

Are you struggling with what to get your pen-loving friend for the holidays? We have ideas for every level, from beginner to advanced at every price point!

The Kaweco Perkeo is our lowest-priced fountain pen at $18-20. This pen is perfect for students or anyone interested in trying a fountain pen on a budget. It’s great for everyday use and can be used with an international short standard cartridge or a converter for bottled ink.

The Kaweco Skyline or Classic Sport models are wonderful, little pocket pens. Consider pairing them with a Kaweco Deluxe or Octagonal clip for functionality and ease in your daily travels.

The TWSBI Swipe ensemble is a bargain at $29. This pen is also compatible with converters and international standard cartridges, and comes with two types of converters and one ink cartridge.

The TWSBI Eco is a simple piston-filling fountain pen and can be filled from any bottle of fountain pen ink. ‘Eco’ stands for economical, and this pen is very affordable at $34.

The LAMY Safari is a sleek, German-constructed pen using only LAMY proprietary cartridges and converters. Each Safari comes with one blue cartridge, but we carry LAMY cartridges in many colors and converters for additional purchase.

The TWSBI Diamond 580, Diamond 580AL, and 580ALR are our intermediate pens, both in price and usage level. At $67-82 they are still modestly priced for fountain pens. These pens have more metal touches and bolder lines than their TWSBI Eco compatriot, while still retaining the traditional piston filling mechanisms and demonstrator body TWSBI is known for.

Finally, in our elevated pens, we have Sailor 1911S, Esterbrook, Lamy 2000, Kaweco AL Steel, Brass, or new Ruby and Iguana Collection pens. Each of these beautiful pens would make a lovely addition to the serious fountain pen users’ retinue. They range from $94 to $275.

In addition to a new fountain pen, there are many pen-related items to give. Consider a pouch, pen clips, or a new journal. Still need help making a decision? Stop by the shop or drop us an email at hellothere@shoppennypost.com.
