There are times when I see an item on Instagram that we don’t have from a brand we carry at The Hive, and I kick myself for not ordering it. I think: “How did I miss this?” and question my ability as a buyer.

This happened in March when my Veronica Beard representative, Sabrina, came to the store for an event. She was wearing the greatest pair of black pants. I literally grabbed them to see how they felt and kicked myself again because the fabric was perfect. They had that great stretch -- not too heavy, not too light – fabric. Really they were a pant you could wear 12 months out of the year. I immediately asked for her to ship me some, to which she replied: “Sorry, they sold out. Fast.” Ugh, what a missed opportunity!

Thank goodness she emailed me a few weeks later to let me know they were re-cutting them and I could have them in June. I jumped at the chance and I’m happy to report they are just as great as the first time I saw them.
