Despite some tough pandemic months during 2021, The Shoe Hive and The Hive have really turned a corner, and if you read Alexandria Stylebook, you know that we have even expanded. Angela, formerly of Bellacara (that brings a tear to my eye to type), jokes that she and I always decide to expand at the worst times. But hey, is there ever a perfect time? Sometimes you just have to seize an opportunity, which is what happened with The Hive. We knew we needed more space. You could barely shop the racks because there was so much merchandise on them, so when the space down the block at 315 Cameron Street became an option for us, we jumped at it.

Well, more than doubling the space of the store and then opening the men’s store has added more work to everyone’s load. This means we need more people! Lots and lots of people!

I thought the best place to look would be Alexandria Stylebook since I know our readers love Alexandria. I am crossing my fingers that some of you might want to work retail or know someone who does. 

I know I am biased, but I think we have the best staff, and it is time to add more great people to the team. If you know anyone who would be interested, please have them contact us.
