We used to carry a lot of Hale Bob. In fact, I have two pieces I bought at Kiskadee years and years ago when I was a customer. They are still some of my favorites. It's been a while since we've had it in the store. There's no particular reason. Sometimes you miss a line at market, write all of your orders, and then realize that's it. You can't squeeze in any more orders. This year, however, I was a bit short on holiday deliveries. So, when my former rep reached out with the line sheets, I knew we had to have it back. We just got in four lovely styles that will be perfect for all of those holiday parties.

I love both of these tops. When I was looking at the line sheets, I wanted to make sure I had a variety of styles and complementary colors. For example, the silk velvet burnout top came in red and green, and so did the lurex top. I decided to go with the burnout top in red and the other top in green. They are both so different in terms of how you can style them for party season (we're doing that this year, right?) The red top can easily be dressed up with black slacks or tucked into a pencil skirt or worn with a nice pair of denim for a more dressed-down look. I love the green lurex top because you can wear it off the shoulder or on the shoulder. I bought this top for myself, and I plan on doing off the shoulder with a pair of fitted satin pants that I've had for years.

Of course, there were also some beautiful dresses, but I thought these two would complement the tops. Again, I wanted one in each colorway and also offer one with sleeves (we get that request a lot.) I love the back cutout and chain belt with the silk velvet burnout dress. It's such a stunning dress! The red lurex dress is gorgeous as well, offering a longer length, long sleeves, and is a faux wrap.
