What’s Your Mood?

Everyone who reads this space regularly knows about my love (okay, obsession) with Lizzie Fortunato. It is the jewelry line that I initially fell in love with and made me bring the jewelry category to the store. But after years of working with the twin sister duo that runs the company and all the wonderful people who are part of their team, my admiration for this brand has only increased. They are so easy to work with, are committed to helping their partners make it through this interesting time to be in retail, and are just kind and generous people. That commitment is why their entire team is this way as well. Good people attract good people. When they launched their new Mood Program for necklaces, I knew I had to have it. The problem was, they weren't really offering it to retailers. I figured why not ask? All they could say was "no." But in true Lizzie Fortunato fashion, and being amazing partners, they sent me the collection. I hope you are as excited as I am to have the collection at The Hive. I can't seem to make my mind up on which charm (or charms) I need. I think I need the heart and the Bengal tooth. Here is how the mood necklace program works. First, you pick a necklace. There are three options available, but you can always use one you already have since the charms can clip on and off any necklace. Next, pick your charm, or two. If there is a color option you don't see, they can make a personalized one for you based on the colors available. So, if you see two colors on existing charms that you want to merge, they can make it for you. Like the heart, for example, you can customize by taking the top blue and merge it with a bottom pink. Special orders on custom pendants will be limited to one week and will take a few weeks to produce. They make them all by hand in their studio in NYC.Shop the collection online or in person. We can special order pieces and have them custom made - whatever suits your Mood.
