WTW: Art on the Avenue
Art on the Avenue in Del Ray is nothing but spectacular. What started as a small, hometown street fair (OK, maybe more a couple-of-blocks fair) featuring an eclectic group of juried artists and world famous scarecrow making, now spans approximately half a mile and features delish Del Ray restaurants, local artisans, and, of course, world famous scarecrow making! Although now larger, Art on the Avenue has stayed true to the neighborhood’s eclectic vibe.
Spiritual Gangster Tee $58 | Mystree Camo Jacket $96 | DL 1961 Cropped Flare $188
What to wear? So much depends on Mother Nature. During transitional seasons layers are always a good choice, here a lightweight camo jacket tops a sleeveless tee. You will ward off any chill and can easily remove the jacket should the temperature rise. Being comfortable as you shop is key!
Finley Pleated Blouse $225 | Claudia Nicole Tunic $147 | Spanx Camo Legging $110
A vest is a great layering option during the fall. Please note the word “vest” does not always mean the ever present down puffer vest we all own. A sweater vest is a terrific option for cooler days. It can be funky when paired with camo leggings or classic paired with your favorite denim. If it warms up, slip it off and into your bag. But when it counts, the sweater vest will give you the I’m-so-cozy vibe.
Let Me Be top, $285 | Lilla P pant, $188
This top could be on display…it is its own work of art! It is Boho, glamorous, and chock-full of details. The neutral palazzo pant is a perfect canvas for multiple outfits and makes this top its own exhibit. If you get chilly, throw on a wrap. There is no better time to showcase your inner artiste!
