Dress Blues

As a child, I would settle down several times a week with coloring books and a 24-box of Crayola crayons. A new box of crayons always excited me…the waxy smell, the crayons perfectly sharpened so I could easily color inside the lines, and several new colors that I always tested first. One color struck me immediately. It was called Midnight Blue and I was so enamored I colored an entire page in this vibrant color. My favorite color was born.Ask me today what my favorite color is and that question is harder to answer; my color palette has expanded. However, blue clothing always catches my eye…and I’m not alone! Several Kiskadee customers have said their entire closet seem to hold this naturally occurring hue. It is the color of the sea and the sky, after all!Blue can be seen as a neutral, especially navy blue. The bonus is this color can be worn year round. Navy is a wonderful transitional color as we make our way into the late summer and fall.

Top Gun

Blue is a perfect backdrop for sporting fun designs. No other color can be used for a “blueprint” of an airplane! This silk dress has a flattering flutter hem, a waist-defining tie, and a dropped shoulder detail. Add these elements together for one scene-stealing dress!

Classic Pinstripe

When you think of pinstripe, you think of businessmen don’t you? Banish that thought as you exude power in this stunning jumpsuit. Wear it to work with a blazer then toss the jacket as you head out to a cocktail party because remember…we excel at multitasking!

Feminine Wrap

This dress is soft and the details speak to every female. It is a true wrap dress, which we know flatters most figures. It has monochromatic striping for confidence and romantic ruffles that speak more to our feminine side. It is easily worn now, and in cooler weather with a cropped leather jacket for added edge.Blue symbolizes intelligence, wisdom, loyalty, and trust. It’s OK if your closet leans toward this spectacular hue!
