This fall the makeup looks on the runways ran the gamut. There were nude lips and red, neutral eyes and bold ones, bright eyeliner and none…you get the idea. However, some fun trends did emerge. Adapted for the real world, these will bring you a fresh, new look for the fall and winter months ahead.

Pink and Blue

The eighties are back in a big way and that doesn’t just apply to fashion. Pink and blue on the eyes were everywhere...sometimes even together. We’re Head Over Heels for these looks.

Glitter

We saw the trend this spring with shimmer and sparkle shadows and it hasn’t gone anywhere. If anything, the dial has been turned up. Now glitter and sparkle are literally everywhere. Good news, if the glitter on your lids falls to your cheeks…you’re totally in fashion.

Red Lips

It’s a classic. The red lip frequented many of the runways. Matte, shiny, glossy, intense, or subtle, this hue was a favorite among the designers. If red normally isn’t your thing, now is the time to shake that off and give it a try.

Smoky Eyes

From matte browns to silky silvers, the smoky eye is back. This one is pretty foolproof. Eyeshadow on the lid…check. Eyeshadow under your eye…check. Eyeshadow not completely blended…check. Amateurs, rejoice!
