Fall into Gold

As we near mid-October and time is—perhaps inexplicably—charging forward at warp speed, I am trying desperately to absorb the wondrous things about fall. Having just taken a road trip from Kansas City (my fiancé’s birthplace), we traveled through nine states, and when we reached the gorgeous Appalachian Mountains, I felt at peace with nature. Soon it will all be, but a memory and the colorful leaves will be replaced with winter’s snowfall. In a year that could not be over soon enough, it does miraculously seem to be going somehow too fast to be able to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.It is so important to enjoy these pleasures and take a moment to see all the good in the world, especially in times like these. I felt so inspired by the pure tones of fall; it reminded me of the warm and timeless feeling gold jewelry holds. Draping my neck, wrists, and fingers in quality gold gives me a similar feeling to fall and the beauty it has to offer.
