As the summer heat starts to subside and the cool breeze begins to sweep in, we suddenly realize fall is upon us. That means all things boots, jackets, and pumpkin lattes, centerpieces, food, and more! It also means the start to a fantastic season of jewelry trunk shows at Mystique in our Old Town and Middleburg locations.
The Mystique Collections we carry in our stores are carefully selected with design style, finishes, quality, and price in mind. We are beyond excited to feature these pieces in our store and show off the newest fall designs from these amazing designer collections.
Check out all of the details for our upcoming shows in each of our store locations and make sure to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know which shows you’ll be attending and which particular piece(s) you may be interested in so we can make sure it is here for the show. Plus, all who RSVP will get a special gift bag filled with goodies from the designer and from Mystique Jewelers, plus 10 percent off on the day of the show.
Lisa Nik combines colored gemstones, diamonds, and artful elements to create fashionable jewelry that women can enjoy on any occasion. The mission translates artistic elements into avant-garde jewelry created for a global network of enlightened women. The company was founded on a strong belief in the individuality of expression through bold color. You can see more of her designs here.
Mazza’s newest collection, the AU collection, will be featured at our trunk shows (see some pieces above). Jeff Mazza’s daughter, Lexi, will also have her delicate, on-trend designs at the show (see below).
The Mazza family’s involvement with the jewelry industry dates back almost two centuries, in a small town just south of Naples called Torre del Greco. Starting in the 1840s, the Mazza family worked with coral and conch shells, which they harvested, for cameos, all hand-carved in Italy. Discover Old World finishes, bead work, bezel, and cabochons. The Mazzas have a commitment to contemporary design, while holding fast to the tradition of the Italian masters. You can see more of their designs here.
Designer Lika Behar has an impeccable eye, choosing magnificent gemstones, telling a story in itself. Lika creates unique and intimate works of wearable art inspired by ancient civilizations and the Mediterranean. Her hand-wrought, individual designs reflect ancient history as well as the modern feminine spirit. She works with 22- and 24-karat gold, diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, oxidized sterling silver, and a myriad of beautiful gemstones of extraordinary color. You can see more of her designs here.
For Armenta designer Emily Armenta, jewelry is about the creative process and the deeper meaning behind art. Designs often come to her at night or in a dream. Therefore, she believes that her designs should not be limited by one element, but rather, she explores all elements to create the unexpected.
Emily strives to push the boundaries and attempt the unexpected. She believes in unleashing the creative force within. Like a painter, she explores working with and mixing many different metals and stones to create a beautiful work of art.
In search of her own duende, Emily discovered a window into the work of Spain’s most famous and important poet of the twentieth century, Federico García Lorca, and has been captivated by Lorca’s idea of “duende.”
Each piece of jewelry that is hand-crafted within Emily’s studio tells a story. And after hours and hours of work on each piece, finally, there are those moments when Armenta knows – not from thoughts, but from the “duende that climbs inside… from the soles of the feet”– that what she is creating is magical.
Farah understands the need for simplicity and elegance. “Women want jewelry with designs that are understated, creative, unique, and manage to express their individuality. They also want jewelry that accentuates their beauty and yet works on all levels of their hectic lives.”
Farah’s collection has various influences such as ancient architectural motifs and ornate tapestries, which she translates with her own contemporary edge. Textural interest and finishes play a major role in the line, giving it a unique character.
Her Antoinette’s Midnight Treasure, Scrolling Tapestry, and Color of Shiraz collections have been celebrated by various stars, influential women, and socialites, and have garnered a lot of attention from major fashion and lifestyle magazines. Celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Queen Latifah, Kelly Ripa, Jennifer Connelly and Hayden Panettiere have been photographed in her designs.
