#GetDressed for Our Community

Small business owners love what they do, and they play an important role in supporting their local communities. From providing a hometown feel for localities to working hard to know their neighbors, these small companies do a lot to help others who live nearby in many different ways. I have been a personal stylist for five and a half years and have owned AMG Style for one and a half years and I started working at Mint Condition part time. I honestly treasure the relationships that I have formed between my clients and the customers at Mint.  What I love most about small businesses like Mint Condition is that when the going gets tough, the tough get going! Innovation sparks creativity and new ways to sell goods and services. We’ve all been hit hard by what’s been happening in the world right now and because we love our community so much and rely on you, we wanted to add some positivity during these uncertain times.   I have teamed up with my friend and amazing local stylist, Ali Hellmuth, founder of ALH Style to do a #GetDressed Challenge starting Monday, March 23 - April 3. Last fall, Ali did a #GetDressed challenge and I loved feeling that sense of community during her challenge. Not only is she one of the most stylish people I know, but I love that even though we work in the same field, we support each other and want to help each other grow. And because this is already such an amazing community, Old Town boutiques and other Alexandria vendors are offering gift cards and product giveaways to winners of each daily challenge! Be sure to follow along on Instagram at @styleamg, @alhstyle, and @otboutiques for more detailed information. We are so excited to kick off this challenge and feel a sense of community during social distancing! For more information regarding styling services, email Marisa at amgstylewise@gmail.com.

Mint Condition has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, and we plan to stay open, but with limited hours (Monday - Saturday 11am - 3pm, Sunday 12pm - 3pm) and limited staffing. We are making every effort to keep the store sanitized and clean. The door will be open to let fresh air in and keep minimal exposure to door knobs. We are cleaning and disinfecting every surface area and limiting 10 people in our store at a time. With less people coming into the store our efforts are being focused online. In the meantime, take this time to clean out and get ready for summer! We are still accepting spring/summer consignment appointments via our new website www.shopmintcondition.com.
