Complexes are simply a series of movements (“exercises”) performed with a barbell, dumbbell(s), or kettlebell(s) or even no equipment at all where you finish each repetition of one movement before quickly moving onto the next movement. They are also an awesome way to get in your conditioning, core work and your strength training – all in one!
They can be done after your regular workout as a fat-burning, muscle-shaping finisher. Or, yes, they can BE your workout. They’re so effective; many would be better off replacing their entire workout with complexes.
