In this business, if you are lucky, a rep you work with will be around for years. Many move on to different companies or new fields, but it's always nice to have the same one. You get to know each other. They help you out in a pinch. And it's fun to see them at market. One of my all-time favorite reps is Christian. I worked with him from day one at Lilla P. After working with Kiskadee for years, first with Darby and Neil and then with me, he knew exactly what our customer liked and could help me narrow down from all of the styles they presented.Well, as with all things, people move on. Christian was no different. This time, however, he was moving on to start his own line of jackets. He presented his first collection in February for Fall 20. Besides the jackets being absolutely stunning, I also wanted to support someone I consider a friend. I decided to place an order for a few styles from his inaugural capsule collection. As a huge fan of Dynasty diva Alexis Carrington and the late David Bowie, Christian designed each piece and was inspired by these '80s cultural icons known for their power-shoulder looks. Each jacket is hand made in New York City's garment center using premium fabrics chosen for their versatility and sustainability. Each one is named for the cobblestoned streets surrounding his West Village design studio. I hope you love them as much as I do!
