Our Semi-Annual Upholstery Sale Has Begun!

It’s August and that means it is time to shop our semi-annual upholstery sale!  Every day we offer 20 percent off all Cisco Brothers upholstered furniture, but twice a year we give you an additional 10 percent off. This is one of those times. Through the month of August you can get the best deal in the finest-quality and best-designed American-made, hand-crafted furniture around.

We can talk all day about how great Cisco’s construction is, but what makes it stands apart from the rest is the design. It is subtle and sophisticated. Two of the best features of the Cisco Brothers collection are how varied and versatile the designs are. To kick off this month’s upholstery sale, I thought I’d share some of our favorite pieces in beautifully designed homes. No words are needed when a picture can say it all.

The Louis sofa is the king – or if it were the newest member of the Duke of Cambridge’s clan – a prince of a sofa. We love how Amber Interiors uses a pair of them here.

Louis appears again in a design by Nashville-based Lori Paranjape, this time in a two-piece sectional near the water. I love how Louis gets around!

Designer Mitzi Maynard, also from Nashville, is a big fan of Cisco Brothers, too. I love how she really uses the whole range of Cisco’s offerings in her designs. See the white Donato chairs in a circle (one of my favorite looks because it looks so indulgent)…

and the cozy and comfy Hayden Deluxe sectional just begging for family snuggles.

San Francisco designer Lane McNab puts a luscious Luccia sofa center stage in this gorgeous living room. Do yourself a favor and come by the store to sit in one of these. You won’t be sorry!

Finally, the Gunner sofa in this moody design by New York’s Dana Simpson looks incredible. Don’t you just want to curl up in front of a warm fire (even though it’s August) with good wine and something amazing to read?

  • The latest from Amy
Owner Amy Rutherford started Red Barn because she wanted to deliver a service — to provide both old and new in one place. No longer will busy shoppers be limited to reproductions or forced to shop multiple flea markets for the look or gifts they want. The trick in blending old and new, vintage and modern, classic and quirky, is balance. And Amy’s knack for mixing rustic antiques with urban chic has created a look that is both fresh and familiar.

Red Barn Mercantile opened its doors in September 2007 with a single vision in mind: providing old and new to offer our customers signature whole-room designs at great prices.

We’re more than a furniture boutique and provide more personalized service than a big box retailer. We work hard to bring you the highest quality furniture and gifts, the most unique conversation starters, wall hangings and accent pieces, whether they come from off-the-beaten-track flea markets, or the latest designers.
