Shared Genes, Shared Jeans: An Ode to Denim, in Verse

'Twas the week before Mother’s Day and all through the store,

Whitney was merchandising the new denim on the floor.

Ali looked at the racks and thought “hmm, I have a thought,

My mom recently wore the jeans I just bought.”

Then Jane and her daughter Margaret walked in with a grin,

And everyone knew the fun was about to begin!

“To the fitting room!” Ali yelled with glee,

And the ladies pranced over quickly to see what was to be.

“These jeans work for both of you,” as she handed each of them a pair.

Then they both slipped the denim on with ease, and fluffed their amazing hair.

The Good American jeans have a high waist, so they feel nice and secure.

Sure, they are distressed, but that’s doesn’t make them immature!

Both ladies loved the wash and rolled them up in different ways.

Margaret tied her t-shirt, and Jane loves a good ol' front tuck; she’ll do it always.

  

Then came FRAME. “I love these,” Margaret sighed.

Then Jane slipped them on and she basically cried.

  

The released hem is the perfect detail and the cropped mini boot adds a nice flare.

Look, another high waist! Anyone would wear these without a care!

  

So there you have it friends, and there are plenty more in the shop.

No matter what your age, your jaw will surely drop.
