Do me a favor and Google Formentera, Spain. I couldn’t exactly pinpoint where this was so I did a quick search and I am glad I did; honey, this place is now on my bucket list! Gorgeous white, sandy beaches, shallow, crystal clear water -- an unspoiled paradise, if you will. This is the source of inspiration for all things Xírena.Xírena has been synonymous with summer attire since my old Dallas days and I was thrilled to learn we carried Xírena at The Hive when I first started working. Now enter my closet 2018 and I have quite a few beloved pieces that take me through the summer heat and then some. We just unpacked our first summer shipment of Xírena and I started to justify to myself that I needed every single piece!Xírena is for those easy, casual days where you don’t want anything tight you but still want to look summer appropriate. One of my favorite things about Xírena is how simple the design is. Nothing too fancy or fussy, every piece can be worn with anything you like from denim jackets to a linen shirt tied on top of a dress, skirts, white jeans, you name it. Katie Coslov bought Mint Condition with her sister-in-law Megan Podolsky in August of 2019. Previously Katie was the Director of Operations at The Shoe Hive and had fallen in love with Old Town’s charming little city, where you walk down the street and greet people by their first names. Coming from numerous other big named retailers, and graduating from The University of Arizona with a Retailing and Consumer Sciences Degree, owning her own store had been on her bucket list! Check Check. Katie and her husband Ryan moved to the Alexandria area in 2016 with their two dogs and now have two little ones also.
