Who knew the bandana would be the hero accessory of the season? We’ve always carried them at Threadleaf — and I almost never leave home without one — but we’ve definitely upped our bandana game this year.
One of my favorites is from a brand that’s new to the shop, Ecoraw Studio. I discovered Ecoraw while traveling in North Carolina and was taken by how the designer elevated this staple. By using raw silk and hand dying with plant-based dyes, Ecoraw makes beautiful bandanas for every day.
Another shop favorite is from Fog Linen Work. This is a lovely, limited edition print made in collaboration with French artist and illustrator Isabelle Boinot. Made from 100 percent linen, this bandana is an easy way to turn an outfit into a look.
And, of course, we have bandanas that make another statement. This fun 100 percent cotton bandana from Hemlock Goods has been a real winner this season.
There are so many ways to wear a bandana — neck adornment, headband, and of course, face covering. Let’s make the most of these hero pieces.
