TSALT Staff Picks from the Sale Rack

Imagine you had an expansive closet tricked out with some of the best selections of pants and dresses in town. You might feel overwhelmed with so many choices. Over time, you would probably determine which were the best pieces that not only fit well and looked great, but made you feel incredible as well. The ladies who work the sales floor at TSALT are privy to an array of choices every day they work. Over the course of the season, they identify what pieces work best for them. This amazing group of women who work at TSALT also live right here in Old Town and know the lifestyle well. Two familiar faces to those of you who live in Old Town are Amy and Amanda. They were kind enough to jump in and share with us some of their favorite style from the sale rack. That’s right, I said sale rack! TSALT has reduced spring styles to 50 percent off! That means some of the best deals of the season are waiting for you right now on St. Asaph Street! Summer is a great time to assess your wardrobe and fill in some of the gaps.Amanda loves both the understated pieces as well as some of the more statement items. Finding a fantastic sheath dress can be difficult if there isn’t a lot of give to the fabric. PH15 has an incredible scuba quality to the textiles in their collection. The one Amanda has chosen below is an amazing coral color that flatters a wide variety of skin tones. Next on Amanda’s list is a sportier outfit that mixes shades of blue and plays with prints. The bomber jacket is lightweight and can be thrown over the shoulders like a cardigan with a white sheath dress or white denim. Adding the print shorts makes this a fresh duo to walk around Old Town or take along on vacation. Summer drama? Maxi dresses are not only dramatic in their silhouette but are a great way to feel comfortable and look chic. This one from AS by DF has the added fun of brass paillettes. When a dress has this type of adornment, jewelry isn’t necessary. The staff loves the color, and the nice V-neck keeps this perfect for dressing up or dressing down, making this a lifestyle option at its best! Amy has fantastic style as well. I describe her style as classic with a fresh bend toward eclectic. Amy also brings her personality to everything she wears. Hopefully you can see from the photos that her carefree sunny attitude is what shines above all else -- and that’s the way it should be!Comfort is a key ingredient to summer dressing. The Kurta is a very chic way to keep it classic and stay cool, especially in this stunning blue. If you are a fan of the brand Figue, purchasing it on sale is a treat! With items at 50 percent off, now is the time to strike on higher end designer brands!Again, the maxi rules! Amy has chosen one from Apiece Apart that has more of an empire waist. This is a great style that will give you some support, with or without a strapless bra.  Separates are always good to have in your wardrobe, even in the summer. While it may not offer the ease of a dress, separates will keep your wardrobe looking unique since you have the ability to pair them your own way. Amy selected the whimsical hot air balloon blouse in light aqua and paired it with the ivory pom-pom drawstring pant in raw silk from Figue. Such a classic -- and fresh -- look for summer. Well done, ladies!
