Lookbooks for This Week’s Trunk Shows: Ann Mashburn + Lizzie Fortunato

By now I am sure you know about the event at The Hive this week; it will be the final one I call “the biggest event of the year.” This is the only time we'll have two designers in our stores– in person. Rarely do we get even one! This Thursday night, we have Ann Mashburn and Lizzie Fortunato (along with her sister Kathryn) in store to help us celebrate spring. Seems like it’s finally time to wear our spring clothing so the timing is ideal.

To help celebrate they have a great selection of items we don’t normally have in store and we have new deliveries, too. In addition to Thursday night, the Fortunato sisters are in store Friday, and Stephanie from Ann Mashburn will be on hand to help with Made to Order shirting and questions about the collection.

Many have asked what we will have in store so we created two look books. Here’s the Ann Mashburn Lookbook, and here’s the Lizzie Fortunato Lookbook, with all our inventory and items just for the event.

If you can’t stop by Thursday or Friday, don’t worry the event is happening all weekend. We’re always here to help; we just know it’s fun to actually meet the people who have designed the clothing and jewelry.

Come by Thursday through Sunday and receive 20 percent off Ann Mashburn and Lizzie Fortunato. You don’t want to miss out!

Owner | The Hive and The Shoe Hive

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
