I feel like we've had a slow start to colder weather this year. However, full-on chilly weather will be here before you know it. I love jackets and coats. It's always been one of my favorite items to "collect." I personally love having a variety depending on what I'm wearing that day. I tend to keep my coats forever too. So even though I don't buy new ones every year, they do pile up in the coat closet until I force myself to weed a few out. Some of my favorite coats are several that I had custom-made in 1998 when I was stationed in South Korea. At the time, you could take any picture to the tailor, and they could make it for you. I couldn't afford anything from J. Crew at the time, but I took a picture in, and voila! I had a replica. I still have this coat and wear it a lot every season.

Covid put a damper on fall style last year, so I thought that it would be fun to have a variety of coats at Kiskadee this year. When I was looking at fall collections in February, I was excited to see some of the offerings that our staple brands had. I love both of these jackets from Lilla P. This is their fresh take on a puffer coat with a shorter sleeve and a notch collar.
