What I Hope Someone Buys Me
Despite the fact that we work at the stores and are around the merchandise every day (and buy plenty), we all still have things we’d love to see under the tree! You’d think we would have already purchased our wish lists, but sometimes when you work in retail– you have to show the most restraint.
My list can be long, and is usually filled with everything by Adina Reyter. If someone wanted to splurge I would direct them to the jewelry case at The Shoe Hive. Everyone loves Adina. I think she’s really blown up this year, or Instagram has figured out I’m obsessed with her. I love all her charms that you can attach to either a chain you already own, or to something from her collection. It’s pretty much the perfect gift for a mom or someone that you shop for all the time; you can just add a charm each time you need a new gift. That’s why I picked an Adina Reyter chain as my gift of choice (if anyone reading this needs to find a gift for me, wink, wink.)

Kelly was with me on the Adina selection, and I too, love the delicate turquoise and diamond ring she selected. Of course, Annette picked something by Lizzie Fortunato. Rarely is there a day she isn’t wearing Lizzie earrings. Rebecca also picked jewelry. Who doesn’t love an initial necklace, and we love this one from Completed Works.
Melissa is someone who is always changing her purse, so I wasn’t surprised with her Jerome Dreyfus selection. I really don’t know how that bag is still here on our shelves, it’s so good. Then of course we have great shoes, and Shannon and Madeline both picked similar styles: great lower-heeled boots in a croc-embossed leather that will go with literally everything. Sophia’s selection is another staff favorite. My sister has already purchased this amazing reversible Isabel Marant coat. It’s great to wear over big sweaters and it’s just so cozy. Juliet also selected something cozy, with a great cashmere turtleneck from Joseph.
A.J. picked another classic as well, the loafer from Sid Mashburn. I have always loved a loafer and this one from Sid is gorgeous. You can tell how well it is made just by looking at it. We have it in various colors and I know it will only get better with time.
