Roaring into Fall
Like camouflage, animal print is another trend we saw at Coterie in February. I actually wouldn’t call it a trend since it’s always around in some sort of way. However, we felt like for fall, it was just everywhere. Every brand we saw had it in their collection and every delivery had a few pieces in it.What makes some of these pieces different are the color combinations, the way the print is done, and the inclusion of other prints like pony. What I like about the styles we chose is that they can be worn for years. They aren’t super “trendy” and will be, in my opinion, wearable for as long as you want them to be.This dress by 525 America is fun because of the colors used...I really love the hint of yellow around the spots.
525 America Dress, $118
I just love this jumpsuit. I bought one for myself! You’d think that a leopard jumpsuit would be too much, but Joie did a nice job with the print.
Joie Jumpsuit, $345
This lightweight topper is super soft and cozy. It’s a perfect pairing for your favorite skinny jeans or leggings. Sanctuary makes fun prints, and this is one of my favorites from the brand this season. I love the coloring they used.
Sanctuary Topper, $110
You don’t see pony print too often, but Sanctuary did a good job with this one – I just love it!
Sanctuary Pony Shirt, $89
This zebra sweater by Michael Stars is super soft and cozy. It’s one of those pieces that can easily be dressed up or down by simply changing the pants or shoes. It has a bit of a puffed sleeve that is on trend this fall.
Michael Stars Zebra Sweater, $178
