Crazy for Camo

Back in February (seems so long ago), we went to NYC to buy fall styles. I wrote a Stylebook article about the fall trends we saw, and one thing we saw a lot of was camo. It’s been around for a while, and it looked like it wasn’t going away anytime soon. It’s an odd thing to be looking at fall fashions in February. At that point, you can’t wait for spring and are a bit tired of sweaters and jeans. Fall is my favorite season and I love camo, but it’s tough even for me to get excited for those things in February. Now, however, I’m looking forward to it! We’ve been receiving our first fall shipments for a few weeks now and I’m excited about all the camo that has already arrived.I love this lightweight jacket by Sanctuary. The brand is known for its camouflage prints and this jacket doesn’t disappoint. I try not to get too many new styles for myself... the closet it out of control. I did get this one, though. It’s the perfect jacket for early fall.

Sanctuary, $139

These camo joggers are already a hit. Perfect for lounging around the house or they can be dressed up for errand running.

Mystree, $78

I love this versatile top by Mystree. Zip it up as a top or leave it unzipped as a cardi or jacket. It’s super soft and cozy.

Mystree, $98

This casual top from Mystree is a winner too. Casual but with a hint of sparkle. One of my favorite combos.

Mystree, $78

Wooden Ships is always a hit. Their sweaters are unique, soft, and don’t break the bank. Better yet? They are all made in Bali, they offer fair wages to their workers, and all are made ethically with as little waste as possible. They initiated a program to train women and break that cultural barrier there. They are currently 85 percent solar-powered and use bio-degradable packing. We seriously love this company. The first shipment had this sweater with a camouflage star. It’s one of my favorite styles from the company this fall.

Wooden Ships, $138
