Alexandria Classical Christian Academy

Alexandria Classical Christian Academy (ACCA) is a non-denominational classical Christian school serving students in Jr. Kindergarten through 5th grade in Alexandria, Virginia. Equipped with a mission to inspire, enrich, and educate young Christian scholars, ACCA trains students who can read well, write well, speak well, and think well. As a newly founded school, ACCA plans to add one grade level per year until reaching 8th grade.

Katherine Kramer, Founder and Headmaster

Katherine is the Founder and Headmaster of Alexandria Classical Christian Academy. She has over 14 years of experience in classical Christian schools in consulting, advising, and training, both in teaching and administrative positions. Most recently, Ms. Kramer has led an award-winning faculty, served on national accreditation teams, and taught faculty development programs internationally. She has shaped and developed curriculums and policy alike, conducting personalized and group coaching of pedagogy, methodology, classroom management, and academic planning. 

She has a Bachelor of Arts from Patrick Henry College in the Classical Liberal Arts with an emphasis on Pedagogy, and minor studies in Literature. Ms. Kramer's experience includes working with neurodivergent children, and she has received training in Biblical counseling. As a member of the Society for Classical Learning, she is an enthusiastic advocate for the holistic Classical approach to teaching, and is inspired to see students developing into young men and women who love God and serve their neighbor.
