Ask, And You Shall Receive… Boxwood's Fall & Winter Workshops!

We have been working around the clock to finalize our new and exciting workshops being offered this fall and winter. These workshops are our favorite way to introduce friends, products, and fun into our customers' lives. Our spots fill up fast, so start chatting with friends about which dates and workshops you all will want to attend. We are excited to welcome some of our beloved experts back to Boxwood to showcase their talents and help you learn a new one. Our goal is to create an intimate experience at our workshops, making space limited. So run, don't walk!

Blooms For Breast Cancer Awareness Floral Workshop

October 13, 2021

Fall is finally here and we have been so busy getting out all our new fall arrivals. Although we are surrounded by the reds, yellows, and oranges of the season, all we can think about is pink! In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are super excited to welcome Michelle Faber from District Floral back "Under the Boxwood Tent" for her "Blooms for Breast Cancer Awareness Floral Workshop." This workshop is tomorrow, October 13, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Join us for a fun evening styling a contemporary arrangement with a blush pink palette of premium blooms and ribbon. Participants will leave with one arrangement of their creation and are invited to design a petite fresh floral pin-on with a pink ribbon sash!

The Boxwood shopping spree that evening is a fun addition with 20 percent off your purchases (excludes wall art). A portion of the proceeds will go to National Breast Center Foundation.

Speaking of National Breast Center Foundation, all day tomorrow in Boxwood, you can find the “Walk to Bust Cancer - Angel Wings”. Have your photo taken in front of the Angel Wings, then share your “wings” photos on social media with the tags #walktobustcancer and #BoxwoodOldTown and donate WalkToBustCancer.org.

Sue has been creating vibrant block prints on heirloom quality linen using non-toxic, colorfast inks in Alexandria since 2015. You have seen her work in our store and around Alexandria. We couldn't be more excited to have her share her talent and teachings at Boxwood. Each participant will leave the class with a tea towel printed in a pattern that they've created.
