Blondes…You’re Using The Wrong Shampoo

You go to the store, you buy an expensive shampoo and conditioner and you think “I’m going to have amazing hair”. But you don’t. Your color fades or it gets brassy. You try another and another and still the same results. Why?You need more than one shampoo. Yep. It’s true. You actually may need three. I know. It wasn’t until I had three shampoos that my hairdresser said, “your hair looks good, you’re keeping your color really well.” I started with a color-safe clean shampoo. That helped, but my hair still got brassy. I added a purple shampoo. That helped, but it couldn’t really get rid of all the brassiness. What to do?  You need a clarifying shampoo, said the rep from Christophe Robin. If you don’t get rid of all the stuff clinging to your hair, the purple shampoo can’t penetrate and add the pigments to counter the brassiness. Okay. I’ll try it. Aahhhhhhh! Do you hear the angels singing? I do. That was the magic. Now my hair is the color I want. It has the silky texture I want too. Yes, my shower has a lot of bottles, but when you spend a fortune on your color, you don’t skimp on the haircare needed to keep it do you? No, you don’t.If you have blonde hair and you don’t have a clarifying shampoo, a hydrating color-safe shampoo and a purple shampoo…I bet you’re not happy with your hair. I mean, unless you’re Goldilocks.
